Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 13 years and 3 months old
my dog started with one paw shaking then couldnt stand then had a very violent seizure, he vomittted and defecated and when the seizure stopped she was still had severe trembling. the vet initially thought it was epilepsy but the next morning diagnosed stroke, she still cant stand (2 days) and her head is stuck to one side, there was a sign of inflammation in her blood test and she vomited up a sponge soaked in makeup but he doesnt think this has anything to do with it,

Hi. Poor Tia. I am.concerned thag she had a seizure and still has neurolgic signs. I would recommend the ER and a referral to a neurology specialist for an MRI. Unfortunately, since she is older, it is possible there is a primary brain lesion, tumor, and is very unlikely just epilepsy. If a neurologist isnt an option, symptomatic treatment with your regular veterinarian is the only option. If quality of life is poor, definitely speak to your veterinarian about that as well.
