My cat is sneezing a lot during home renovation. What should I do?

We are doing renovation and my cat started sneezing a lot. Is it anything to worry? Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Male | neutered | 3 years and 10 months old | 11 lbs

Hello, thank you for your question about Barney. I suspect that the increased sneezing you are noticing is secondary to the renovations and all the particles that are being kicked up into the air. Additionally, cats are extremely sensitive to stress and can develop a mild upper respiratory infection secondary to this. I would recommend continuing to monitor Barney at home. If the sneezing increases in frequency or he develops any other symptoms such as cloudy ocular/nasal discharge or coughing I would recommend having him evaluated by your veterinarian.
