Why does my cat lift his back while sleeping? Is it a health issue?

I have a problem with my cat its just new he makes this position while sleeping is he sick or is it normal? He lifts his back part while sleeping. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 1 month old | 20 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This may be due to a neurologic issue if it is happening also when he is trying to walk or stand up. Otherwise, if just happens when he is sleeping then it could potentially be normal. To be on the safe side, I think it would be best to have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment if this continues. Best of luck!
