My parakeet has been having night frights ever since he saw my other parakeet get killed by my dog when he got out of the cage but now he seems to be having the same thing throughout the day. Not everyday but sometimes.

Thanks for reaching out about Twiggy. Sorry also for the circumstances. Monitor Twiggy for appetite, thirst, defecation and urination. If these are lacking, moving Twiggy to a new area might provide some comfort. Maybe he needs a new companion. If it is fright, providing securing and time are the only other options. Good luck.
