Why does my 5-year-old dog wobble when standing or bending down?

Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | neutered | 15 lbs

my dog has trouble standing up. she is 5yrs old. her appetite is normal. during play, her energy and agility is normal. when she needs to pickup food/toy off the floor, she wobbles like a drunk. stool is normal. alertness/attention is normal. barks at outside noise/sound as normal.

That is concerning. Dachshunds are prone to having discs come out of place in their back and press on the spinal cord, leading to weakness or paralysis. I would recommend taking her to the vet in the next day or two to be checked out, and try to prevent her from going running or jumping in the mean time.
