Why does my dog act strange, growl, and yelp at the same time daily?

I need to know what's wrong with my dog hidi. About 2weeks ago she has been act strange around this time ever day. All she does is lay on the floor and her eyes get big and when I go to get her she starts to grow and her eyes goes side to side and always licking her tongue and she is jeling a little bit to. I can move her body around but she don't do nothing but growl and she try to get up it seems like but cant but I can pick her up and take her outside she will run to the door and wants to go. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 14 lbs

I would be most suspicious of her being pain with that description. It could be orthopedic pain or abdominal, or even eyes/ear/skin or a headache. If she's very old, it could also be dementia, which can be worse during certain times of the day. I would recommend getting a video of her behavior (not the growling, you don't want to do anything that might results in getting bit), and taking her and the video to her vet to discuss next steps.
