My cat has worsening brown and yellow eye discharge. What to do?

My cat has some brown discharge from his right eye. It has been ongoing for the past few months but recently has become worse and more noticeable. I also noticed some yellow discharge which then crusts over. What do you think it might be and what are the treatment options. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 11 years and 4 months old | 9.04 lbs

Hi there. Simba could have a bacterial or viral infection, or something within his eyelid that is irritating the eye and causing the discharge. I would recommend having him checked by your vet.
