My cat took gentamicin. Why is she drinking and peeing more often?

My cat has ingested 0.7ml gentimicin once in a day as prescribed by vet.but after injecting gentamicin frequent urination and increased thirst is observed.what should I do now.plz help. Pet's info: Cat | Bengal | Male | 7 months and 25 days old | 2.25 lbs

Ideally, since gentamicin can affect kidney function, Guddu should be rechecked by your veterinarian. Bloodwork can be submitted to assess kidney function. A urine sample should also be submitted. The symptoms described may be related or they may be coincidental and due to something else.
