My dog ate Life cereal with cinnamon and milk. Should I worry?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Chow Chow | Male | neutered | 2 years and 9 months old | 65 lbs

Midnight ate three small pieces of Life cereral. It has cinnamon and is multigrain. My husband has NPH and drops food. I do not like the preservative and coloring in them. It was in milk. Is there anything to worry about

Unless Midnight has an unusual sensitivity, you will likely not see any problems with such a small amount. The main foods that you need to be very careful with, as small amounts can cause big problems, are grapes, raisins, onions, garlic or any vegetable with in that family group. Small amounts of those can cause serious illness and some dogs. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions!
