My bird is spinning in circles, head turned 180 degrees. Is it sick?

My bird is acting a bit weird, she keeps on spinning around in circles like crazy. She flew away from me while I was trying to pet her and wheni looked, her head was 180 degrees turned and she kept spinning around in circles like crazy and flapping her wings. What can I do? Pet's info: Bird | Parrot | Male | 39 lbs

That is very odd behavior. If Salyt is unable to hold her head in the proper position, seems in severe distress, or is otherwise acting ill it would be best to have her examined by a vet in person as she may be injured or ill. It is also possible she was just very excited and flapping around to show her excitement, however she would be able to return her head to normal after and should still be active, eating, drinking, etc. Keeping an eye on her, and if she seems ill or doesn't return to normal, seeking vet care is best.
