Is it possible to find a vet who specializes only in rabbits?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | spayed | 1.5 lbs

Is being just a rabbit veterinarian a job? If yes, how hard is it to work for?

Usually a veterinarian who is interested in clinical rabbit medicine can be employed both in rabbits farms and general practice. Usually a basic knowledge of dogs and cats medicine is needed as well. Being a vet is not an easy job (in all fields), as requires commitment and passion. It can be very rewarding though.
