Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 5 months and 26 days old | 3 lbs
My kitten has been much more vocal than normal. She started squatting this morning with her tail to the side, but uses her litter box as normal. Is she just being really chatty, or should I take her into the vet? She's just as playful and nothing has changed other than her being super chatty. I don't want to take her to the vet if nothing is wrong.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Salem. Has she been spayed yet? If not, there is a chance she could be coming into heat. This will make a cat more vocal. They will also posture with the hindquarters raised in the air and the tail off to one sign. If she is eating, drinking and acting normally, you can monitor her. However, if her symptoms persist or she begins acting sick, then she should see her veterinarian. I hope this information helps!
