Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 1 month old | 57 lbs

Dog has lost a lot of weight from 36 Kgs to 26 Kgs and popping yellow since 1 month. Got the poop examined by the vet then also no parasite found. Vet said have infection inside. I am attaching the medical report also for the reference.

Hello. It is difficult to say there is infection since a few white blood cells may be incidental. Dabboo might benefit from having an actual fecal culture done, but I would also like to see a GI panel done, including looking at folate levels , Trypsin like immunoreactivity, pancreatic lipase & B12 levels. While this is being done, your vet can administer a cyanocobalamine injection & see if this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
