Why is my young cat's urine foamy? Is it a kidney issue?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 7 lbs

I took Reggie to the vet when he was 8 months. I mentioned I notice his urine bring foam &. a concern that there is something with his kidneys. vet stated the cat was too young for something like that to happen I am still noticing the foamy urine 3 months later. Still concerned...

It would be rare for a kitten Reggie’s age to have kidney issues but it’s not impossible. It’s very easy to know if he is normal by running down routine bloodwork and a urinalysis. I encourage you to have this done as then will know exactly what is happening inside Reggie’s body. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
