My pregnant dog is still bleeding a month after mating. Is it normal?

My dog is pregnant. Its about almost 1 month since she stud with, she still in bleeding or in a period. I was so worried because she still bleeding. It is normal in pregnant dog that she still bleeding until now? What should I do. May dog is female shih tzu. She's 6yrs of age. I hope you could help me, because I'm so worried about her. Thanks for the help. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | 5 years and 10 months old | 7 lbs

If Bambam is still bleeding, I would suspect she is pregnant. It's not normal to be bleeding this long after being mated. You can have her seen by a vet to confirm if she is pregnant or not. I would also strongly urge you to spay her either now if she i's pregnant, or after she weans this litter should she be pregnant. Dogs over the age of five should never be bred. Best of luck.
