Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I am so sorry to hear that she is not feeling well. This discharge could be coming primarily from the mouth or any of the associated anatomic structures and it is not possible to know exactly without an examination. This could certainly be due to an infection for example. It does appear that she is uncomfortable. How this is managed really depends on what actually is going on. For that reason, I highly recommend that you have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to diagnose this and proceed with therapy accordingly. Best of luck!

That looks serious. Faith may have a significant infection in the mouth (which could result in blood poisoning) or that fluid could be coming from her lungs. Both conditions can be very very serious and require attention. I recommend to get her seen by a veterinarian asap! She feels very bad. Once the doctor knows the cause, Faith can get the appropriate treatment. She may need blood work and/or radiographs to look at her internal functions. I hope she feel better quickly and that this is helpful. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
