My dog has a fast-growing lump on her leg. Could it be cancer?

Does my dog possibly have cancer? We found this on her leg and it has grown tremendously she is a Yorkie and we don’t believe this is common.

Most masses are benign but anytime you see a mass that grows quickly, you should be concerned. Just like with humans, you can’t always look at something and know if it is cancerous or not. Also just like with humans, the veterinarian may need to collect a small sample of cells and look under the microscope for an accurate diagnosis. I recommend to have Dolly see her veterinarian. Hopefully it’s nothing but it’s always better to be safe! I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
