Can I use lime sulfur dip on a stray cat's crusty head for mange?

Hi..this stray cat has crusty skin or bump like skin on its head(felt when touched) also its eyes are semi closed and it often scratches its head..is it mange? I bought "lime sulphur dip"..can I use it only on the head where the mange is...because it is not possible for me to bathe full body as it is a stray..and please if possible suggest me as to what I can do by myself at home..don't refer a vet please as it is a stray I can't take it to the vet plus the vets here are not efficient at all..ty

Hello. You can use the lime sulfur dip, just follow the dilution instructions on the bottle very carefully. Apply the dip as best you can to the affected areas, do not get it in the eyes or mouth. You will need to watch this kitty very closely to prevent her from licking or grooming the wet dip. Once it is dried, she should be fine. Repeat the treatments as indicated on the bottle.
