Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 1 year and 2 months old | 80 lbs
He woke me up at 6:30 this morning with a super rumbly tummy and then he vomited twice bile, I fed him and grumbles went away so I know its hunger pukes. He eats almost four cups a day spread out in four meals, one being right before bed. His body shape looks great so I dont know why he is still hungry. Could he be going through a growth spurt? Should I increase food intake before bed or a little more in each meal? He eats pro plan sensitive skin.

It may not be that Louie is hungry but that the stomach acid has built up overnight. You were doing the right thing by feeding him right before bed. My advice would be to try a different food and see if that helps to decrease the acid production. Try Royal Canin labrador retriever diet. If that does not help you might talk to his veterinarian about starting an anti acid at bed time. Probiotics can sometimes help these guys as well. I recommend Forti Flora. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
