I watched a vid about someone chasing a dog who got loose from its owner at a traffic, asking others to help/stop the car bcz the dog keeps running. Luckily it was caught. Then i read the comments. Someone said to not chase after the dog bcz it would make to condition worse (it won't stop running). What should i do in case this happens to me? I know my dog would run away too & it happened 2x on the road already. I got lucky bcz she ran to a neighbor asking for pets while i got panick attack.

That depends on your dog. They are all individuals! Some dogs will run if you chase them. Some will stop and turn to you. Some will run regardless of being chased or not. I always try to squat down and call in a very high pitched voice. Hold out your hand and act playful. This is usually the best method. Find a collar that your pup cannot slip out of as well. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
