Why is my cat eating table food and constantly over-grooming?

My cat eats table food and we can’t stop her also over cleaning herself

Unfortunately it is very difficult to train a cat not to eat table food. They are opportunistic and will take adavantge of food left unatteneded. The only thing you can do is keep food put away. Cats will over groom due to stress or sometimes an OCD Type condition. You can try general stress relief like pheromone diffusers, creating areas within the house where she can climb and hide, and setting aside at least 30 minutes a day for vigorous playtime. There are also medications that can help like Amitriptyline. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
