Is it normal for my dog to throw up yellow fluid after worming?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 9 years and 9 months old | 22 lbs

Hi guys, a fast easy one if I may? Bear had his once-every-three-months Milbemax worming tablet yesterday around 5.00 pm and this morning had a big throw of yellowy fluid! I know this may be normal but you folks are my favourite backstop for worries I (constantly) have over him! Should I worry more than I normally do, being 24/7? He appears fine in all respects! Many thanks His Dad, Ian

Hi Ian! We are always glad to help you with Bear. If he's just thrown up once and he's otherwise fine, I wouldn't worry about him. Keep an eye on him, and if the vomiting continues, then I would be worried and have him seen by a vet. I hope this helps!
