If you are certain that Gus has not urinated in three days, you need to take him to a veterinarian right away. If he has a blockage in his urethra, this is a life threatening emergency. If it is an obstruction in his urethra, unfortunately there is just not a way for you to fix that or make it better at home, and the consequences of waiting --to see how he does in the hopes that it is something else--the consequences are too great. Most often a urethral obstruction is caused by a bladder stone that slips into the urethra causing an obstruction when it hits the os penis (the bone inside of the dog's penis). I'ms sorry I don't have a better solution for you. You need to take him to a vet NOW. If you don't have a veterinary emergency hospital near you, call your regular vet even if they are closed. They will have instructions on how to reach a vet in case of emergency. Thank you for asking Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
