My dog ate rawhide, now struggles to eat hard food. Vet visit?

Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Schnauzer | Male | neutered | 8 years and 9 months old | 23 lbs

A week ago today my dog ate a sharp rawhide bone. He dropped bone and started barking bone was intact and had no blood on it. But dog having difficulty eating hard food. My husband said he saw a small white dot on roof of dogs mouth but it did not look infected. Should I take him to vet?

Yes, I would take Rocket into the vet. It could be he broke a tooth in the back of his mouth chewing on this rawhide, and it can be hard to see the back of a dog's mouth when they are awake. Definitely have him checked out by a vet. Best of luck.
