Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 3 years and 5 months old | 56 lbs
Jeter seems to have become increasingly bothered by other dogs. When at the park or daycare, he snaps at other dogs that sniff him too long or invade his personal space. We consulted with a trainer who basically said there is nothing you can to fix the problem, but just manage him and keep an eye when around stranger dogs. Is this truly something that can’t be worked on? Also why is this happening now at 3.5 years? He’s always been socialized since he was a puppy. (He is neutered)

I would try to get a second opinion with another trainer just to be on the safe side - I feel like training couldn't hurt the situation. I would also consider putting him on an anti-anxiety medicine like fluoxetine to help. It sounds like he has developed anxiety over the years which sometimes happens. This could be due to a traumatic experience, a change in the household, a change in your schedules, or something else. I hope this helps!
