I recommend to have Bentley’s mass checked out by the veterinarian. Any time you have a red, raised hairless mass there is always a concern for a cancer called a Mast Cell Tumor. This cancer normally affects older dogs but I have seen it in an 8 months dog before. The doctor will need to take a sample of cells and look under the microscope to determine what it is. There’s also a tumor called a histiocytoma and it looks exactly the same to the naked eye. It is benign but you need to know for sure. Keep him from licking at it with an Elizabethan collar. Licking can cause an infection. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
