Why does my large puppy always seem hungry? Am I feeding enough?

I have a 14 week old 17 pound Catahoula that has been dewormed and clean bill of health. He's eating 1 cup of Pro Plan Large Breed Puppy 3 times a day along with training treats throughout the day, yet always seems hungry. Am I giving him enough? Pet's info: Dog | Catahoula Leopard Dog | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 5 days old | 17 lbs

If you can't see his ribs then he is eating enough. It is best not to overfeed them. They look to you for food as a bond. They are not necessarily hungry. Puppies go through growth spurts where they look thinner and heavier until they are adults. As long as you are feeding according to the instructions on the bag of food, you are probably feeding him just fine.
