Hi, I have a 6 month old Beagle Mix Puppy. She had started head shaking but it looks more like a tremor. It happens when she’s relaxing. She was spayed on Friday and the head shaking started a couple days ago. She is eating, drinking, going to the toilet like she usually does and she seems to be in good spirit’s apart from the slight discomfort from the surgery and the itchy skin from the wound that is healing. She is also wearing a cone around her head to stop her getting at the incision. I jus

Poor Lola! Her incision looks great. Could she be tremoring from the anxiety of wearing the cone? You could take it off of her and watch her closely to see if it improves. If so, you could consider putting an inflatable collar on her that will still prevent her from licking but causes a little less anxiety. Some other causes of head tremors could be pain, ear problems, muscle spasms, next pain, or even electrolyte abnormalities. If changing her e-collar doesn't help, I would have your vet take a look at her. I would try to get the episode on video as it may help your vet with diagnosis. I hope this helps!
