Kitten choked on fishbone, gagging and vomiting. Is it an emergency?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 5 days old

my 3 and half month kitten choked on fishbone. she vomited white foam but then nothing. theres no vet open right now so i can only look for any sign from her. she doesn't panting or looking nervous, just a little gagging but mostly she just looks uncomfortable. she still can go around but still not as active as before. should i be concern? i'll bring her to vet if there's any open or asap later.

I would be concerned that this bone could still be stuck in her throat, and Lobsti has to see a vet now. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website. Best of luck.
