Pet's info: Dog | English Bulldog | Female | spayed | 5 months and 6 days old | 55 lbs
I have a 5 month old female English bull dog she is always coughing in sounding like she is wheezing I took her to the vet in they was like this is normal for her breed I really am worried about this I need a second option Thanks Celeste from New Orleans

Hello. To some degree, respiratory problems are definitely associated with this breed. Your best option is to seek another opinion from another veterinarian, preferably one in a specialty referral hospital, or if you are close to your state veterinary college see a specialist in internal medicine there. Some of the breathing problems can be addressed with strict weight control, consistent, but careful exercise, & possibly surgery. Jazzman is a beauty. I hope she always does well.
