Why is my dog limping after waking up, then walking normally?

Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | neutered | 2 years old | 15 lbs

my dog (dachshund) is limping after waking up.. but after will walk normally.. I ensuring his legs are not curled under him. He is 3 years old and will be going to vet if this continues.

Oscar may have injured one of his legs or may have a joint abnormality. It is fairly common for dogs with various joint injuries or arthritis to be more painful when waking and then 'warm out' of the lameness. I would recommend seeing a vet if the limping continues for an exam and potentially some x-rays and/or pain medication.
