Poor little Panda! This lump in the groin is concerning, as it could be something like a hernia, or it could be a cyst or benign tumor. The vomiting is also concerning, and it could be caused by parvovirus, intestinal worms, eating something rotten, a foreign body, or pancreatitis. I'd take her into a vet immediately immediately to get checked out. Best of luck.

So my dog has been acting very strange recently and has been very lazy..Also there is this lump or bump near her neck that seems to cause pain when touched also a few nights ago she started throwing up aggressively making a sound that was super scary
Your pet sounds very ill. A lump on her neck could be a swollen lymph node. She could have a bacterial or fungal infection, immune mediated condition, or even neoplasia (lymphoma) has to be considered. I would highly suggest taking her in to see your local vet for an exam and diagnostic testing to determine the underlying cause. Once we know what is going on with her internally, then we will know how best to treat her condition. At the very least the vet can examine her, see if she is stable, and get her on anti-vomit medication and potentially antibiotics if an infection is suspected.

I would recommend that Linda see a vet. The lump may or may not be related to her other signs but vomitting and diarrhea with lethargy can become serious quickly in small breed dogs. Blood in her stool and brown vomitus indicates bleeding in her GI tract so she may be at risk of anemia as well as dehydration. She should be seen asap if she is still vomitting or lethargic and depressed. And mammary cancer is more likely to occur in unspayed females so the lump should be checked out as well. I hope Linda is feeling better soon.

I am not sure if the skin and vomiting are related. Common causes for the skin issues you have described include bacterial infection, fungal infection, mites, fleas, allergies, among others. The pus indicates either infection or an autoimmune issue and she will most likely need oral antibiotics to fix this problem. Possible causes for nausea include dietary intolerance, dietary indiscretion, food allergy, intestinal parasites, GI blockage, gastroenteritis, bacterial or viral infection, IBD, pancreatitis, among others. If the vomiting or inability to eat food continues for 24 hours, I recommend that she see a vet as soon as possible.

Hi, and thanks for your question. These signs could be compatible with an inflammation infection of the gastrointestinal system and surrounding organs (like pancreas and liver). A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is immediately essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics and possibly further investigations (like abdominal imaging as ultrasound or radiographs) may be needed. Although a picture of the lump would help to determine the underlying cause more specifically, generally speaking this needs to be ideally assessed by your veterinarian to have a definitive and specific answer. Usually there are two ways your vet can do that a part from examining it directly during physical examination. A biopsy can be taken under local or general anesthetic, otherwise a smaller sample through a fine needle can be aspirated (this technique is called FNA= fine needle aspiration). In a young puppy with vomiting and lethargy our main concerns include GI parasites, parvo virus, GI foreign body (i.e. dog ate a piece of a toy, fabric, rock, etc.), or dietary indiscretion (i.e. eating something they aren't used to, like a new treat or food from the trash). It would be safest to have your puppy see the veterinarian for an exam and to test for intesitnal parasites and parvo virus. If these are negative, the vet may recommend an x-ray or may treat your dog symptomatically (with anti-vomiting injections) depending on the exam and history.

The lump needs to be checked and analysed as there are many conditions and types of tumors that could look like that. take Leo to the vet, they will perform a fine needle aspiration on the growth and send it to the lab for analysis. when the result comes, the vet will advise what needs to be done according to the diagnosis. I doubt there is a connection between the lump and the vomiting, but this needs to be checked as well.

Masses or tumors of the mammary glands are very common in unspayed female dogs. 50% of these tumors are benign, which also means that 50% are malignant or cancerous. I would recommend taking Pups to the vet. These symptoms are very concerning, and probably not related to her mammary nodule. It could be dietary intolerance or indiscretion, food allergy, intestinal parasites, GI blockage, gastroenteritis, bacterial or viral infection, IBD, pancreatitis, among others. The straining and liquid is likely severe diarrhea - similar to humans, you can strain with diarrhea and have nothing come out. The vet will do a thorough exam and may recommend blood work or x-rays to determine what is going on.

You are right to be concerned - all new lumps and bumps should be evaluated thoroughly! It is a little difficult to tell from the photo, but this lump is in the location of her umbilicus, and it is suspicious for an umbilical hernia. It could also be some other type of a mass, but the only way to know for sure is to have it evaluated by your vet. Your vet can determine whether or not it is a hernia and/or take a needle sample to determine the type of cells. If it is a hernia, they can usually be routinely fixed during her spay procedure.
