Why does my dog lick his paw after a run and won't let me touch?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | neutered | 1 year and 10 months old | 70 lbs

My dog seems to have wound in his front legs finger in the nails i guess after a run. He licks it but he doesn't let us see it or touch it.

I recommend booking an appointment with a veterinarian to have Puku’s nail(s) evaluated, as it sounds like he's in pain. Pain medications meant for humans can be very dangerous (and even deadly) for dogs, so I do not recommend giving any to your pup without consulting with your vet. Your veterinarian can prescribe safe medication to help with the pain and may also recommend bandaging and/or antibiotics to help reduce the risk of infection. I hope Puku feels better soon!
