How to stop my dog from barking and begging while I'm eating?

My dog barks and acts bratty when I start eating, how can I control this?

And I forgot to mention, just DONT GET IN THE HABIT OF FEEDING HER YOUR FOOD while you're eating. Then she's learned that this behavior works, and she has trained you instead of the other way around. ;)

    Short of hiring a trainer to work with the two of you personally, this will be difficult to get a handle on. However, you can start by making sure Daisy gets plenty of exercise--leash walks, or play ball, etc. Feed her her own meals (small amounts if you are doing it more than twice a day) when you eat, and/or put her in a different room when you're eating. However, again it may take some more intensive, individualized evaluation and advice to get this behavior to improve. Ask your local vet for a good trainer in your area.
