What are the best prescription flea and tick chews for my dogs?

Hello we are due to update both of our dogs on flea and tick chews.

The easiest way to do so is to go to your veterinarian and either buy the chews from him or get a prescription from your vet and get them over the internet. I am assuming you are looking to buy either Bravecto, Simparica or Nexgard. These are prescription only.

    Thank you for your question about Moby. There is a newer product on the market called Simparica and it works very well for fleas and ticks. It’s a once a month tablet that most pets will eat easily (for some pets using a pill pocket or peanut butter will help). Although any product can cause GI upset, most pets seem to tolerate this well. Bravecto is another tablet that is given every 12 weeks. Lastly Nexgard is a chewable tablet that is given every 4 weeks. These medications are all generally well tolerated but are contraindicated in pets with seizures and some have age restrictions for puppies.
