Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Male | neutered | 17 lbs

My cat only recently has been getting insulin, the other night I notice his leg front leg shaking. It would shake, stop, shake, stop, is this caused by his diabetes

Hello. It could be, so this is the reason we need to monitor glucose levels so closely when insulin is first started. You do not indicate how old Mancat is, but at 17 pounds, he could also have some pain from arthritis in the leg. We now know that after 10 years of age, up to 90% of our pets ( including cats ), will have arthritis in 1 or more joints. Make sure his glucose levels are OK & you might want to at least put Mancat on a good joint supplement. Your vet can tell you what might be best for your pet.
