Why is my dog licking her lips and smacking her mouth often?

At times my dog starts licking her lips and smacking her mouth off and on at different times should I be concerned ?

Hello, thank you for your question about Kiwi. The signs that you are describing are usually indicative of nausea. Depending on when they occur in relation to her eating it may be related to her food or could be a sign of another condition. If she is otherwise acting normally I would recommend continuing to monitor her. Additionally you can try using Prilosec. If she is having vomiting or lethargy I would recommend having her seen by your veterinarian so that they can perform an examine and look for an underlying condition. Hope this helps, good luck!
