My cat is breathing fast and getting worse, what's the problem?

Hello! My cat is breathing abnormally. She’s hyperventilated 50 B/min, She’s getting worse day after day. Whats the problem? Thank you

Hi, and thanks for your question. This sign could be compatible with an respiratory tract inflammation/infection or possibly to a cardiac problem leading to accumulation of fluids in the thorax. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. More investigations and antibiotics may be needed.
