What is this discharge-like spot on my dog's eye that won't go away?

Pet's info: Dog | English Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 1 month old | 160 lbs

I saw this on my dog’s eye. it looked like eye discharge but it’s not getting off. He is an english bulldog. Do you know what this is? Thanks

Looks like that could be a little scar on the cornea (clear part of the front of the eye). If he is actively seeming bothered by it, please take him to your vet in case he has corneal ulcer currently. If it is not bothering him now, it could be a scar from a small corneal ulcer he had in the past. It could also be a lipid or cholesterol deposit, though those are usually very central on the cornea. Lipid or cholesterol deposits on the cornea aren’t anything to be concerned with. Thanks for asking Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
