My pitt just turned 13. the last few nights when he goes for his normal business he does not want to come inside he lies outside on his carpet and refuses to come in. Now i see he has dug out dirt by the tree and lay himself down in there ready to go sleep but when i go to him then he comes with me inside. is he trying to tell me something and he is losing so much hair and he is shorthaired. he eats like there is no tomorrow but is losing weight nothing drastic but i can see it.

It's hard to say whether or not Milo's behavior at night is an attempt to 'tell you something', but even vague behavior changes can sometimes be a sign of illness. Weight loss with an increased appetite are concerning and I'd recommend having your vet examine Milo. It's possible that he has intestinal parasites or a disease like diabetes that is causing these symptoms. The hair loss could be a sign of parasites or allergies.
