My dog's dewclaw is swollen. He keeps licking it. What should I do?

It looks like the nail has grown into his paw, which would account for the swelling. That nail needs to be cut, and the swelling treated. Take JR into a vet now to have this done. It's not ok he licks it, and that shows it really bothers him. Best of luck.
