Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 14 days old | 7 lbs
My husband found a puppy today who looks to be malnourished. He said he guesses she can’t weigh more than 6-8 pounds and probably a few months old if that. What do I feed her to get her healthy again? She appears to be a German Shepard or German Shepard mix. Please help ASAP I want to get her healthy so she can grow up with my son! I’m currently pregnant with my first child & we’ve wanted a dog to grow with him.

Hello, and thank you for rescuing the puppy. You can feed any national puppy food & do very well with it. My favorites are Hills Science Diet, Royal Canin & even Purina. They are all excellent without being gimmicky. Have her seen by your vet soon for parasite protection & vaccinations & she should grow healthy & well. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
