My cat has tapeworms after deworming. Is it too soon for praziquantel?

Please can you help me by prescribing praziquantel drug dose & schedule for twinkie? I gave her pyrantel pamoate 1.5ml in last December as a part of routine deworming schedule.But i've seen tapeworm segment in her stool.can I give her praziquantel now..? Isn't it too early to give her another deworming drug? I'm worried about her !

No, it's not too early to give Twinkie another dose; however pyrantel pamoate does not kill tapeworms. Praziquantel does, and that available by prescription from your vet. Unfortunately it's illegal for use to prescribe any drugs or give dosage instructions without seeing the cat in person. You will need to take her to a vet to get praziquantel, and they can give you the dose and schedule. Best of luck.
