Will car travel stress interfere with my puppy's first vaccination?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 28 days old

Hello. My dog Will turn 2 months and I would like to go to my hometown veterinary for the first vaccine this weekend. I live 2hours distance by car. And I hope I Turn back home next day after the consult. Does this "stress" of the travel interferes with the vaccine? Thank you

Congratulations on your new puppy! The travel should not affect the vaccinations. If you want to try something to help keep your dog more relaxed, you can try some Adaptil spray on a blanket in the car https://www.adaptil.com/us/Products/ADAPTIL-Travel
