Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 11 months and 12 days old | 25 lbs
My dog might of eaten 1/2 of a 500mg acetaminophen pill, this happened 01/12/19. I found a little more than half of the pill. So I asume she ate about 1/4 of it. She threw up bile this morning, her energy was normal all day. Today 01/13 she threw up her food. She’s a medium sized dog weighs about 25lbs

Hi there! According to my drug handbook, although we don't often use acetaminophen in dogs, the dose would be 170mg on the high end for Bella's size. If she truly ate 1/4 of the 500mg tablet it would be about 125mg, and she should be fine. However, if she ate more than 170mg, overdose is a concern. If Bella were my patient, I would recommend evaluating some lab work to check her red blood cells and liver enzymes just to be sure there aren't any issues developing. If she did eat more than she should, at least you're covering all of your bases. I hope you find this answer helpful. Best of luck!
