My 8 wk old lab got is first round of shots 2 wks ago. It has happened 4 times, 3 you be petting around his neck and shoulder blades he would yelp and the other time he was crawling on my husbands leg on the floor and rolled over and landed around where they gave him a shot and he yelp. I felt for a lump and no lump. He acts normal and plays normal. What could it be. I’m very worried.

This may be tender from the injection, and then again it may be that he remembered that the injection was uncomfortable or hurt. I suggest you mention this to the vet when you take him for the next round of vaccinations so the vet can examine the injection site and determine whether there is a problem. It will alert the vet also that your dog may be a little bit sensitive.
