My dog ate a dryer sheet. How long should I wait to see a vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 9 lbs

Our 9 lb Yorkie ate a dryer sheet yesterday. How long should I wait for it to pass? Do we need to see the vet?

If Vito does not pass it in the next 8 hours a check up would ideally needed, as this could have caused an obstruction. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up earlier than 8 hours if you notice diarrhoea, vomiting, lethargy or inappetence.
