My dog ate screws, but has no symptoms. Should I be worried?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 2 years and 3 months old | 37 lbs

I think my 2 yr old 38 lb dog ate 3 screws approximately 9 hours ago. She is experiencing no symptoms as yet but I’m worried

Poor Lulu. These are definitely of great concern as they can easily puncture the intestines. I would take her to your vet or local emergency clinic and have them take some X-rays to see if they are truly in her. If so, they will likely recommend surgical removal. If that isn’t an option financially, the they may recommend a prescription high fiber canned diet to see if they will pass. The X-rays are important though because depending on the side of the screws compared to the size of the intestines will depend on whether or not they’re will even be a chance for them to pass without surgery.
