Pet's info: Cat | Turkish Angora | Female | spayed | 6 years and 10 months old
Hello. I have a 7-year-old Turkish angora named Budd. She’s primarily a healthy cat, however, I recently took in a new kitten, whom scratched Budd on the face this past weekend. After scratching her, Budd developed a rash on her face, which she has vigorously scratched at, even losing fur and flesh. I have applied neosporin ointment to her face, in hopes that it doesn’t become infected, unless it already is. Below is a picture of Budd taken just last week, and one of her today. What could it be?

Hi, I m slightly worried that perhaps this is not just reaction to the scratch but rather a ringworm infestation. It is difficult to tell from the picture. I do think that it is best to have Budd checked over as at least he can received a broader spectrum antibiotic cover and be checked over for ringworm. I hope this helps !
