my 6 month old puppy ate a little bit of a colored pencil yesterday. she threw up directly afterwards. today she's been eating, drinking and playing normally but every now and then she sniffs her nose and lightly coughs. what should I do? her stool looks regular and she only ate a tiny bit.

I'd just keep an eye on Evie for now. Likely the nose sniffing and light cough has nothing to do with ingesting the color pencil. If those symptoms do not go away in 48-72 hours or get worse, then I would take her into the vet. Best of luck.
